Rotary-Congleton's Pig Race at the New Life Church attracted a full-house on Saturday, 26th February.
Six heats followed by a winners' race-off completed the evening.
Trying to save their bacon in each heat were 6 hapless competitors who tried to master the art of maneuvering the pigs using rope 'halters' to bring their hogs home.
The overall winner was one of the youngest competitors.
Organiser, Doug Parker presented a trophy and a box of chocolates and she went home with a cuddly bear for her efforts.
The Tote did roaring business and all proceeds from the betting and the raffle go to support Rotary's work in the Community.
