A group of Congleton Rotarians and partners take time out from doing good deeds to have a bit of Christmas fun on their own with their Zoom Christmas party.
John Redfern appeared on the slopes and Sandra Conway in front of a crackling winter fire, both winning prizes, whilst Kevin Thompson's daughter Gracie made an appearance and scooped up a box of chocolates!
Fancy dress and virtual backgrounds notwithstanding, the singing of all-time seasonal favourites and carols went with a swing despite the technical limitations of bandwidth up some members' drives. A splendidly organised raffle ensured that every member won a prize.
Lacking the personal presence of previous parties, this uniquely memorable event reminded everyone of the bond of Rotary and what it means to take part.
President Stewart Price wished everyone a good Christmas and an early return to more normal times
